IPL Photofacial
Intense Pulsed Light plus dermaplaning in one sitting — for sun damage, uneven tone, early photo-ageing and the redness that creams can’t reach.
Light that targets the damage, not the skin around it
IPL delivers broad-spectrum light pulses that are absorbed selectively by excess pigment and dilated capillaries — heating and breaking down the damage while the surrounding skin stays untouched. Mumbai sun exposure being what it is, this is the workhorse treatment for tanning, sun spots and blotchy tone.
We pair it with dermaplaning in the same session, so the light reaches the skin without a layer of dead cells and fine facial hair scattering it. You leave brighter on day one; the pigment correction builds over the following weeks.

Questions we hear at the studio
Does IPL work on Indian skin?
Yes, with correctly calibrated settings — which is precisely where experience with Fitzpatrick III–V skin matters. Wrong settings on dark skin cause burns; ours are set conservatively and tested on a patch first.
What does the pulse feel like?
A warm rubber-band flick. Tolerable without numbing for almost everyone.
Do I have to avoid the sun after?
Strict SPF for two weeks, yes — but you should be wearing daily SPF anyway. Monsoon months, with their lower UV, are a convenient season for IPL.

We’ll assess your pigmentation type first — some pigment (like melasma) needs a different protocol, and we’ll tell you honestly if IPL isn’t the right tool.
