Melatoc Treatment
A structured 3+1 session program for melasma and post-inflammatory pigmentation — the stubborn kind that creams and single peels haven’t moved.
Melasma is a program, not a procedure
Melasma sits deeper than ordinary tanning and is hormonally and UV-driven, which is why one-off treatments barely dent it. Melatoc is a Korean protocol run as a course — three sessions plus a fourth consolidation session — that suppresses overactive pigment cells while repairing the barrier that keeps triggering them.
Progress is measured in weeks, honestly: most clients see clear lightening by weeks six to eight, with the fourth session locking the result. Daily SPF is non-negotiable during the course; we will nag you about it.

Questions we hear at the studio
Will melasma come back?
Melasma is managed, not cured — anywhere, by anyone who’s being honest. The course clears it; daily SPF and periodic maintenance keep it away.
Can I do this while on hormonal medication?
Often yes, but tell us at consultation — hormonal contraception and thyroid medication both influence melasma behaviour and our expectations for you.
Melatoc or TRx Peel?
TRx suits lighter, more superficial pigment. Melatoc is the escalation for established melasma. The consultation lamp usually settles it in two minutes.
